Upstream from the spectacular Victoria Falls in the Zambezi National Park lies a pristine piece of land on the banks of the Zambezi River. The untouched natural beauty of the park is sprawled over 56 000 breathtaking hectares. Old Drift Lodge offers family friendly accommodation, with each air-conditioned suite decorated with stylish furnishings, fitting of the bygone eras, which blend in seamlessly with the natural environment. The spacious canvas en-suite rooms all have a private lounge, indoor and outdoor showers, plunge pool and an outdoor bath overlooking the Zambezi.

Nambwa Tented Lodge is uniquely situated inside the Bwabwata National Park in the heart of KAZA, nestled high amongst majestic trees, honoring the elephants’ right of way below. An authentic walkway joins decadently spacious tented suites, which emanate a feeling of vastness and evoke a gentle balance of serenity. Here you enjoy memorable African experiences on foot, by boat or vehicle, up close and personal with some of the biggest herds of elephants. Soak up the breathtaking sunsets over the infamous Horseshoe Lagoon with animals silhouetted in purple hues over the water.

Check out of your lodge after a final morning activity and breakfast at leisure.
You will be transferred back into Botswana and on to Kasane Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.

Frequently Asked Questions
All 3 destinations are considered “year round” destinations as each time of the year has a different appeal. Victoria Falls can be very hot and humid in October. The main rainy season for all 3 regions is between November and February but even this period, which is known as the “Green Season” is a wonderful time to visit. In the Victoria Falls area, the ‘Low Water’ period runs between August and January and is at its lowest between November and early December. The best views of the falls at this time will be Devil’s Cataract which is permanent and on the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls.
The ‘Big Five’ is a term that was coined during the era of big game hunting in Africa. It was used to describe the most dangerous animals to encounter in the bush and includes elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard. The Kruger National park area is one of few National Parks in Africa where regular sighting sof the Big 5 are possible.
All locations on this tour are considered malaria areas and we advise the use of anti-malarial prophylactics year-round. Consult your travel doctor for advice at least three weeks before departure to Africa.
